I am a PhD student in Bioinformatics at the Funtional Tumor Pathology lab. I studied my Bachelor's degree in Biotechnology in Madrid, Spain and continued my Master degree in Biomedicine with a specialization in Immunology and Cancer at the University of Lausanne. I performed my master thesis as a visiting student at the University of Zurich where I specialized in neuroimmunology and molecular imaging. I developed an interest towards Bioinformatics and I specialized further in the field with a Master's degree in Bioinformatics and Biostatistics. I did an internship in Data science in Roche during my studies where I focused on the analysis of scRNAseq of public studies. After this experience I joined the FTPlab as a Bioinformatician where I specialized in the analysis of different types of genomics data, such as RNAseq, WGS, array data. Currently I am doing my PhD in AI and drug discovery in collaboration with Krauhammer lab.
